It has been far too long! This apparent quiet time doesn't reflect the efforts going on behind the scenes to get some "Chainetastic" events scheduled. Our hard-working and creative restaurants, chefs, clubs and service professionals have had a rough several months. It's been difficult to get events scheduled due to staffing issues, supply chain issues etc. But happily we have several events to look forward beginning Saturday September 24th at the Country Club of Buffalo under Executive Chef and Maître Rôtisseur Joseph Piazza.
Maître Rôtisseur Piazza is a CIA trained dynamo who served as Executive chef at four clubs including most notably the nationally regarded Congressional Club in DC, Cherry Hill Country Club and as Executive Sous Chef of Oak Hill Country Club. He served as President and then Chair of the ACF Denver Chapter, medaled several times with gold and several at numerous culinary competitions and was 2007 USA National Chef of the Year Runner Up, and Western Region Champion. In 2009 he was certified as an Executive Chef by the ACF. He has been a culinary force locally ever since he returned to Western New York, near his Rochester roots. Active in the ACF and Chaine Young Chef Competitions, he has been exciting the CCB membership for nearly 5 years now.
